Game was bought by me directly from Benchmark years ago, and has been in storage since then, and is completely untouched and in the exact condition as received from factory with only (26) recorded plays! Comes complete with Quarter Coin Acceptors, Ticket Dispenser and Free Play Button (for home use), along with Keys, Manual and everything else that was there.

Minor Issues : Cabinet is a bit dusty. Plexiglas hood is showing few minor scratches that can easily be buffed out. One small paint fleck near the bottom lock.

When the Benchmark Two Player Basketball Game begins, the unique central loading tube feeds out basketballs to one or two players, who control their men, using heavy duty, cast-metal twisting grip trigger handles located on the front of the machine. "Visitors" and "Home" players each try to shoot the balls into their respective Baskets with the highest point values shown, but if the ball fall into the opponent's basket, points are scored for the opponent instead! During each turn, players twist the metal handle in front of the game, then attempt to accurately aim their shot at one of many net baskets, and launch their shot upwards by using the physical force of a hand squeeze. The harder / faster a player squeezes the trigger, the longer the ball launches, all the way to the most valuable Top Baskets, in order to obtain the highest scores. Basketball nets are color-coded according to team, and and there are (6) Baskets including (4) " Changing Value " Lower Baskets, where the game provides variable scoring on each shot, with point values changing from 2 to 8 points on each turn. And if players are skilled enough, they can try making the very tough "long shot" into one of the (2) " Special When Lit " Upper Baskets, which scores (10) Bonus Points, plus the current Lower Basket score when these special Baskets light up, and when scored, the buzzer sounds! This highly detailed, hand-crafted Mechanical Basketball Arcade Game Machine comes with (2) basketball players, one in red colored shorts, the other in white with a green jersey and housed in a old time green / yellow painted wood cabinet with retro basketball stadium details and court floor, plus a Plexiglas surround shield to protect baskets and shooters from damage.
