Here's a rare one. Junior basketball gumball machine, with original back round crowd, instruction sheet, with a polished front casting. Customer puts in a penny, and is given three chances to score a basket by striking the lever on the side (which makes the manikin toss the gumball towards the hoop) and out to the front of the machine, thus equaling three possibilities out the front, and a complimentary free gumball from the pull lever on the right side rear of the machine. Since so much time had passed including WWII, it was no surprise that the original factory was gone and the building was divided into small shops, and no one had heard of the E. The machines are rare and this one does work although some modifications have been made. The top is a replacement with a key and lock, there is an inspection hole cut in the right side to determine if the machine needs refilling, factory top sign cardboard is a duplicate of the original, the factory instruction card showing the crowd scene at the game is a reprint of the original, there are miss-drilled holes in the front casting. Overall the machine is complete, works (we tried it several times in our restoration shop), and is a rare find. This item will be packed professionally and is guaranteed to arrive in the same condition it leaves our doors. We are in it for the long haul!
