RARE 1983 Williams JOUST pinball machine fully shopped working FREE SHIPPING

This pinball machine is in excellent, fully working, fully shopped condition. It is currently on 50 cents per play, but can be set for free play. Flippers are nice and strong.

Game has good action and really plays well. I've had a few of these over the years (surprisingly given how rare this game is, but I've had thousands and thousands of games). This one without a doubt looks and plays the BEST.

It really plays like a new pinball machine. I don't think it got much play at all. He was a busy guy with a lot of games, and just didn't have the time to play a lot of them. He didn't even want to part with it, but was reaching end of life and needed to downsize and get rid of stuff he just didn't need.

He has since passed on, but was a really nice guy and took great care of his stuff. This game is working on all its original boards - that is how well it was cared for. Not a single piece of rottendog in it anywhere. The original displays are still bright and sharp and unburned. I went through everything on this game to make sure it is 100% and it is. I also replaced all of the lamps with top quality LEDs - not cheapo junky ones... Better than when the game was new frankly. I also did some preventative maintenance although it wasn't necessary. I replaced the battery holder with a remote one to prevent future acid damage.

I removed the RAM chips on the MPU board and installed sockets and new RAMs, just for future serviceability. I removed every board and resoldered all of the connectors on every board, just to make sure there weren't any cold-solder joints hiding waiting to cause problems. So this game is good to go for a long time and should be very reliable. Great game with great rules and some good shots. SUPER fun single player OR Head to Head.

Will provide years of fun. You will NOT find a nicer one either playing-wise or cosmetically. CONDITION and RATINGS for THIS SPECIFIC MACHINE. The playfield really has very, very little wear.

The plastics are just about perfect. The game doesn't have a backglass, but instead it has a marquee on both sides that says JOUST.

The one in front of player 1 is perfect 10/10. The one in front of player 2 is in perfect condition but slightly faded, probably from sunlight, so I rated it 8/10. The coin door is one of the rare WICO doors with embossed steel that says Williams in cursive on the front. It is in perfect condition and fully working with coin mechs and a new lock. The cabinet is solid with no significant wear or damage.

In fact the cabinet is almost flawless. This game is about as nice a survivor as you could find. It is just in excellent original condition!

This game has working coin mechs already installed, and you can use it easily for quarter play or can set it for free play if you prefer.
