GAMES BAR BRAIN Bar Top Arcade Machine - Cleaned, Tested, WORKS! Vintage bar-top arcade machine, "Bar Brain", manufactured by U. Cosmetically this machine is in excellent shape for it's age, with a reasonable amount of visible wear, scuffs, scratches - especially considering it sat on a public bar it's whole lifetime!
It has received a light overall cleaning. Functionally this game works perfectly! The 9 inch arcade monitor displays properly, is still bright, and has great colors. Switches work well, the lights are functioning, and the turn-table on the bottom works well. The coin mechanism is still hooked up, and works well. The sound works, and so does the volume control located in the coin box.The system fan seems a little noisy, but functions OK. The battery backed RAM used to save the high scores has been professionally upgraded, with a high quality part featuring an easy to change coin cell. The ROM chips are labeled version 18.5, and appear to be original U. This unit's only major flaw is a missing coin box door on the back.
Somewhere along the line it appears to have been broken off it's hinges, and discarded. It doesn't really affect the game's operation, or appearance, but please see the pictures for full details! The keys included do work in the other two locks on the game. I've spent quite a bit of time play-testing this exceedingly rare unit, and it's a real blast from the past! Most of the games are text based or simple graphics, as they did tend to be back in those days!
