You can call them at. This Asteroids arcade game works fully - all video, controls, sound and scoring operate as intended. The game is cosmetically rough, though.
PCB has had some components replaced, including sockets and a game EPROM. The regulator has been mostly rebuilt and some components in the HV cage have been replaced as well. The EM cage is missing but a some foil is doing an admirable job holding down the fort so the pic isn't wavy! The control panel appears to be an overlay, not the original panel and is in fair shape. The black has been touched up as best as possible on the entire panel. The buttons were stripped, cleaned and Retr0brited. Both flashing start buttons work but the cones have the requisite cigarette burns on them because 80s. The owl coin door is missing some parts and has been kicked plenty in its 40 years. I refinished it as best I could - at least the coin door light works now! The front of the cabinet has had some bondo work as well.
This one was a survivor! The original monitor and bezel are also in fair shape with some scratching. The cardboard bezel is well faded but complete. The marquee is in good shape and the lights hey, they're not original either!
Work and do a great job of lighting it up. The G05-801 monitor is crisp and look good still, save for the tasty 40-year-old burn.
The sides have normal wear except around the edges where there was lots of flaking, etc. Touched these up as best as possible, too.So, all-in-all: She's rough around the edges but does have it going on where it counts and plays strong!
