Dragon's Lair Arcade Machine #04318. This one is a true survivor. What makes this cabinet special is that.

The three sided marquee area was still present and one side has 95% of the original 1983 side art. Usually an op would cut the marquee straight and rip off the side art. But this didn't happen. This cabinet has only ever been a Dragon's Lair.

However, there was some swelling at the bottom of the cabinet on both sides. Not too bad for a 35yr old cabinet. I did not want to replace the sides and lose most of its originality along with the original art on one side, so I cut out the bad areas and replaced the pieces.

You can see the areas I replaced in the pictures of both sides showing the side art. One side has the original 1983 side art, the other side has licensed QuarterArcade side art. I fitted original speakers, scoreboard, scoreboard plexi and boardset. The Power supply is a brand new modern switching PSU. The game is running Dexter which is a vast improvement over a laserdisc and player.
