I'm going to leave it as-is, however, since it was originally produced that way (new owner can remove it by taking off the topglass and removing the underlying plexi). The does have slight burn from Galaga and/or Pac-Man but you can't see it at all through the way-too-dark tint. The control panels were removed and cleaned with Awesome! Save for some very mild cracking along the bottom edges, they look fantastic.
There is some yellow paint spatter on the player 2 CP that I can't get off without damaging the overlay, so it'll stay. Very mild spatter - see pics. The topglass is in very good shape, with the original artwork all still intact.
No flaking of the artwork, just some mild surface scratching. The corner brackets were removed and I was able to remove the majority of the rust on them so they now look very good. The original keys and two locks to secure the top are also present and working properly. As mentioned earlier, the original coin mecs and coin box are present but you won't need to use them as the multigame is set for free play. It also retains high scores (original games didn't do that) and makes the game much more durable as the program ROMs have now been removed (fewer points of potential failure). One note: the game Side Car is neat, but it has no sound. That is by design as Side Car used different sound hardware than did Spectar and Targ.
Speaking of sound I recapped the audio PCB and the original speaker had had it so I installed a brand new speaker. Lastly, a copy of the Spectar Technical Manual will be included that has the schematics and Theory of Operation.
